Merge Request diff view updated images side by side shows 2x new version instead of old and new
Steps to reproduce:
- make a new merge request with a modified image file (updating an existing image).
Expected behavior:
- merge request, changes tab, showing old and new image side by side
Observed behavior:
- merge request, changes tab, showing the new image twice
Wordy details:
When reviewing a merge_request with updated images on the changes (3d) tab, it shows updated images side by side, but twice with the new image. (left: new image with red border, right: new image with green border).
It works okay when comparing on a commit (you get old image on the left and new image on the right), but not ok when viewing all changes in a merge request.
Just to be extra clear, I'm talking about these two views:
- example url bugged compare:
- example url working compare:
Unfortunately I'm not in a position to test if the problem still exists on the current latest stable or development release of GitLab.
currently I observe the behaviour in:
- GitLab Community Edition 8.0.3 f9a0c22d (2 months old)
