8.3 Regressions

This is a meta issue to index possible regressions in this monthly release and any patch versions.

Please do not raise or discuss issues directly in this issue but link to issues that might warrant a patch release. If there is a Merge Request that fixes the issue, please link to that as well.

Please only post one regression issue and/or merge request per comment. Comments will be updated by the release manager as they are addressed.

Mattermost v1.3.0 offers a new iOS app and GitLab is prominently featured in our marketing.

Mattermost v1.3 install has been simplified, it's not just a one-file change for omnibus. Also, the Mattermost team is standing by to test the new RC with the changes.

Sorry to post here if it's not the right location, we usually work with @marin, but haven't been able to reach him...

Just heard back from @JobV, it looks like @marin is coming back from vacation tomorrow and all will be well.

Sorry for all the messages, in past months we've tested GitLab Mattermost in the omnibus RC and everything's worked smoothly.

We got nervous this month as our screenshots are showcasing GitLab and we weren't seeing the features in the omnibus installer...
