Strange and unexpected error on preferences page
Steps done:
-
open profile page: https://gitlab.com/profile
-
open preferences page: https://gitlab.com/profile/preferences
-
choose the dark syntax highlight theme (a different theme that is currently marked there; mine was "white")
-
click on the "SAVE CHANGES" button, in the bottom
Result is a page that says:
============
422 The change you requested was rejected.
Make sure you have access to the thing you tried to change.
Please contact your GitLab administrator if you think this is a mistake.
============
I have tried these step with 3 different settings in my browser:
-
Cookies enabled, JS enabled, referer heading enabled
-
Cookies enabled, JS enabled, referer heading disabled
-
Cookies enabled, JS disabled, referer heading disabled
All of them gives the same result.
I would like to use a dark theme for all the pages. Why is the left menu dark but the right parts (most of the screen) is white? I want both with dark background (not only the syntax highlight sections as that option seems to offer).

I found no other way to reply Grzegorz Bizon with another note. There is no button or link that I can see here. So I am editing the issue to write it.
I am using Opera version 11.64, Build 1403, Linux. Opera 12 gives the same result with JS disabled. But the button "SAVE CHANGES" gives no result; it changes its appearence for a couple of seconds and then it come back to normal, nothing seem to be happening.
These two browsers are a bit old, but I need and want to use them. They're compatible with many things that most websites and system want to use today, except some newers thing that are mostly uncompatible with several different devices or systems. I am suggesting changes here that will improve Gitlab in these aspects, IMHO.
Firefox also gives the same results (after completely disabling the referer header).

I can send a network log and printscreens, if the details above are not enough to reproduce the problem. Just ask me.
