Show archived projects in the system

Right now we have no separate view where archived projects are shown. The intention is to incorporate archived projects seamlessly into the UI without polluting project lists.

Reason: better discovery in case search can't be the implication

@creamzy thank you for creating this issue. I think archived projects should be hidden everywhere except maybe projects page with some archived filter/tab enabled

@dzaporozhets well, yes by default they should be hidden. But a checkbox "show archived projects" or something like that would be useful.

We have about 100 current projects, so they often get archived to declutter UI. But this means we often need to look at archived projects or unarchive them for quick work. Currently we need to remember the names and this is not easy with the amount of projects we run.

right now it's only in the mew search results UI, I would be glad to receive extra input if there is another location for it @dzaporozhets

I think its time to bring some order into archived projects flow. What I am going to do is:

1. Hide archived projects from UI of regular user
2. Add to sorting dropdown section with "show archived projects" option

You are introducing filtering option to an orderby dropdown.

if we still want to keep it there, it shouldn't work same as the rest of sorting labels. show archives should definitely be a checkbox, so we can use it together with sorting methods.

Yes thats the plan. It has a line separator for reason - its visually separated from sorting options.

@sandrodz we need solution that will work not only for Explore page but also for other pages too. All other pages has one row of navigation.

@sandrodz there is no better place than dropdown that will fit current UI on pages like Dashboard, Explore, group page etc. I don't understand why you against it.

Could this filter be added to the personal projects page? i.e. https://gitlab.fuhu.com/users/username/projects.

I understand that a new feature request would need to be made. I'm wondering if this project filter could be ported over somehow.
