Bye-bye grey space

We all want to get rid of grey background/complex layout to have more space for awesome GitLab features.

We need to provide 2 approaches for consuming information - fixed centred layout and liquid layout. There is a mechanizm to be considered (https://gitlab.com/profile/preferences)

@creamzy Gotta love those new dropdowns.
I see pagination in showing 1-16 of 260 results.
How will this paginate? Is it infinite scrolling or next-page'ish.

@jschatz1 no worries, just leave as it is, there is a new issue coming with updated pagination , but I will add next milestone. Not to stress you, let's concentrate on 1 thing at a time. I push updated design only because I have no other way :(
