Tall avatar images are oddly stretched

If a user uploads a tall image as an avatar the image is oddly stretched to fit the circle. Can we easily do something nicer?

@dblessing cute! Just inappropriate image cropping. I will delete ux label and put bug instead. Maybe @jschatz1 knows some fast fix?

@dblessing @creamzy This is a much larger issue in that gravatar images are meant to be square. When you upload them on most services they present you with a way to crop the picture so it is square. We need to do the same! @creamzy suggestions? Screen_Shot_2016-01-14_at_8.59.52_AM
@jschatz1 If it's too much work now, let's keep it as a request but push it further down the line. It's a minor thing. It was reported by a customer but I know for something like this they will be understanding.

@jschatz1 I do agree, that would be nice. Maybe you can schedule it for some milestone in the future as @dblessing has suggested.

@dblessing @creamzy Great thank you! It does mean that it does not matter what size the picture is currently, if it isn't perfectly square it is getting stretch/skewed.

@jschatz1 do you know of some js lib that allows you to crop?

@JobV I've used a few in the past (like 5-6 years ago). I believe I used this one a couple of times: http://deepliquid.com/projects/Jcrop/demos.php If I remember correctly. Cropping js libraries are out there and reliable though.
