C++ Code Highlighting is broken

I'm not sure what is wrong here but it seems that the code highlighting for C++ breaks on the | character.

I'm using Gitlab 7.7.0 but the problem has existed before that. Every single file I have is somehow broken. Header files are obviously also affected by this bug.
