This commit breaks bundle install:

You are trying to install in deployment mode after changing your Gemfile. Run bundle install elsewhere and add the updated Gemfile.lock to version control.

You have added to the Gemfile:

• gon (~> 5.0.0)

You have deleted from the Gemfile:

• gon

You have changed in the Gemfile:

• gon from no specified source to rubygems repository https://rubygems.org/

The tag v6.4.3 works.

@xcache The current GitLab version is 8.5.4. This MR seems a bit outdated to me. Plus there doesn't seem to be any issue that document what you're trying to fix here...

Please explain the purpose of this MR and what does it try to address.
