Failed to create index pq

After a recent update of Gitlab I got an error "502 bad gateway" on mattermost. I have not updated mattermost since the first release of it with Gitlab.

I am now on the most current release of gitlab. I found that I had to incrementally update mattermost. So following instructions I found in other issues and forums I manually upgraded all the way from 1.0.0 (I guess I was on 0.5.0 so currently an upgrade is running from 0.6.0 onward) all the way to 4.1.0.

I still get the error of "Failed to create index pq" on the team index because inviteid does not exist.

What am I missing? Currently upgrade is running again to manually upgrade from 0.6.0 and I'll update if things change.

I am perfectly willing to blow out the entire install of mattermost and replace it on the server. I don't care about what was in it because it was a test back when it first came out.

The platform will not respond as it just spits out those errors when I try to do platform reset on mattermost.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.
