@jacobvosmaer-gitlab or @stanhu can you merge this? I don't have master access and we want it added so we can bump the prometheus version. @marin is out until next week.

Both @balasankarc and I have already tested builds with the change.

We will also need a 0.0.5 tag for it once it's committed.
