Please support SUSE

Will the runner support SUSE? I'm trying to use OpenSUSE more, and trying to write all my things to support Ubuntu 14.04, CentOS 7, and OpenSUSE 13.1, so an OpenSUSE runner would help me. I don't care about iOS, OSX, or Windows, but I might care about Android someday.

I started here: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ci-multi-runner, where I noticed that the "Works on..." line is out-of-date with everything the runner actually works on; it should mention RHEL and derivatives (CentOS, Scientific Linux, OEL). I clicked through to here: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ci-multi-runner/blob/master/docs/install/linux-repository.md where you'll notice that instructions for Debian/Ubuntu and RHEL/CentOS are present, but nothing for OpenSUSE/SUSE. :-( Hence my question.

David is also interested in contributing to CI docs or tutorials at some point too.

@DavidLWillson You are free to use runner also on OpenSUSE, basically any distribution running Linux kernel is support. What may not be is the service manager (Runner has built-in support for upstart, systemd, SysV).

My ultimate goal is to see SUSE/OpenSUSE supported as a peer with Ubuntu/debian and CentOS/Fedora. I wish that there were a package repository for it, for example.

A case name in the documentation would be almost as good. I'll start working on that, as time allows. My first goal, as soon as I'm done passing my LFCS exam, is to do a hands-on intro to GitLab and CI class for SFS.

I'll be happy to accept contribution adding full support for OpenSUSE with support for it's service manager.

I found darix's gitlab-ci-multi-runner package and started fixing some of the issues I ran into.

If you are planning to support the OpenSUSE service manager in the installer, the systemd packaging guidelines might be a good starting place. It looks like before 11.4 (2011) they used system V init.
