GitLab Assets Return with 401 Error Code
Having downloaded numerous things onto this server, GitLab has been by far the worst experience & most challenging one.
Spending hours to finally get GitLab to work with Apache - I still run into the issue where no CSS or JS files will download. Here's what I'm seeing through Chrome:
I've currently tried changing the permissions to all of the assets; added "Require all granted" in the apache configurations to this path, and more. They still return with the same 401 Unauthorized error code. If I copy the location of the errors and paste it in the address bar, it shows with a page saying "You need to sign in or sign up before continuing". I try ignoring the missing CSS & JS files and just try to enter my password, it brings up a "422 The change you requested was rejected" page. Furthermore, pressing "Sign in" on the page appears to essentially refresh the page.
Additionally, when you just go to "git.example.com", I have it set to redirect to https://git.example.com. This gets changed by GitLab to https://git.example.comusers/sign_in; NOT https://git.example.com/users/sign_in.
Is it just better to get rid of Apache and just go with NGINX? I have roughly 10 domains & subdomains setup and I would really prefer to stay with Apache...
