Adding issues in the board while in a filtered selection, doesn't assign the filter to the newly created issue

Summary

While using a filter in the issue board, for Example "Milestone %7.5 in gitlab-foss" or similar, and creating a new issue to a lane, the currently used filter - here the Milestone %7.5 in gitlab-foss are not attached to the newly created issue.

Steps to reproduce

Go to the issue board,
filter the view,
create a new issue in a lane by pressing the plus button,
insert title,
submit the issue.

What is the current bug behavior?

A new issue gets created with the label of the lane.

What is the expected correct behavior?

A new issue gets created with the label of the lane and the filtered Mileston or Label.

This bug happens on GitLab.com and on my CE 9.3.6.

@schwedenmut Thanks for raising an issue. I don't think that this is a bug as this isn't the intended behaviour, so it makes this more of a feature proposal for the new issue adopting the current filtered values.

Currently, the filters are just used to limit the search and are not utilised when creating the issue.

@schwedenmut : We certainly want this. But it isn't a bug. We want this because it is the expected behavior, as you've probably noticed. And when we eventually make our boards update in real-time, this would actually be required since the newly added issue would disappear from the board after the board auto refreshes.

@victorwu I find myself wanting this when my issue searches (in the issue list) don't show what I'm looking for. So I go on to create an issue and the data I already had inputted on issue search could be re-used to pre-fill the “New issue” form. Can we expand this to accomodate both issue boards and issue list or should I create a separate issue for it?

@pedroms : Definitely create a new issue for the main issue list view scenario. I think that's a good idea.

Another idea I just had is that I want to be able to quick add issues in the main issue list, exactly the same as issue board. That way I am not forced to go to a web form which I find annoying and increases friction. I'll make that an issue too. But that would align with your idea here too!
