Mirror stuck in updating state

Recently a customer performed an upgrade. When GitLab went down for update it seems that several repository mirror update workers were running. They all got stuck for 7 days in 'Updating...' state. We went to the Rails console, found the projects and ran project.import_finsh. Then we were able to click the Update button and changes were pulled. Can we add some timeout that will automatically clear the import status if it's been there too long?
