Cross-project pipelines are broken

I tried to test cross-project pipelines: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-examples/cross-branch-pipelines/pipelines/9134774.

However, this seems to be broken and not the same as on mock-ups.

Downstream pipeline shows up, but upstream pipeline does not.
