Emails on push HTML formatting is missing spaces in 8.7.0 RC4

Steps to reproduce:

1. On current GitLab.com (8.7.0 RC4), enable Emails On Push.
2. Push latest master onto personal fork.
3. Attached is a sample of the e-mail.

It looks like the spaces before span elements have been stripped--suspect this is an issue with the premailer gem or Gmail.

Odd, the latest two e-mails I got seemed to work fine. Closing this out for now.
