Ambiguous error message when signing up with GitHub if the email address is already in use on GitLab
When registering on GitLab.com, users see a vague error if their email address is already in use. The URL contains a description of the problem while the actual page shows a generic HTTP 422 page.

@gitlab A bit of a confusing error message I think (the url seems to have a more accurate description). I was trying to sign in via GitHub.

@zj it was front-end only. I added an endpoint to check if a username is already taken. But I don't think that's being used here.
