Clicking on a link of a comment generated by gfm does nothing

When I paste a link to a comment in another comment, GFM renders it like a link.

I pasted a comment of an already resolved discussion, which means it's closed in the UI.

When I click it, nothing happens.

I was expecting: 1 - either to scroll to the other comment 2 - open a new tab with the comment.
