Unable to log out

I originally signed in via gitter web with my twitter account. I downloaded the macos desktop app and signed in with twitter as well. All works well. However...

I now want to log in with github. I'd have thought I could link the two login types to the same gitter account simply by staying logged in with one and authing via the other - but no joy. I now have two separate gitter accounts. Fine, I can just ignore one of them.

I can log out on gitter web, then log back in via github auth. Great!

However, you cannot log out on the desktop app.

As a workaround, I've been trying to remove gitter-related files out of my ~/Library directory, but I can't find the magic files. It remains logged in.

Help?

The sign out option is in the menu bar dropdown.
