Mention in new room does not add to room list

When you get a notification in a room you haven't joined, it does not add it to room list.

1. Have a friend join a room in your organization that you have not joined
2. Friend @mentions you
3. Note, the organization will have an orange dot in the side bar (you have a direct message)
4. Open organization on left nav, but no room has an indicator that you have a message.
5. Go to all rooms
6. Join the room
7. You can find the room

But step 6 is difficult since there is no indicator letting you know where the @mention can be found.

👍 this was driving me crazy and usually resulted in me not using gitter in order to hide the notification

For anyone wanting to find the mention/notification, you can use the API, https://gitter.im/api/v1/user/me/unreadItems?access_token=xxx. You can get the personal access token from here, https://developer.gitter.im/apps

This also just happened to me in a hidden room.

So probably related to lastAccessTime, see recentRoomService.saveLastVisitedTroupeforUserId

@MadLittleMods I thought you fixed this already.

Although, I did add 2 rooms recently and the orgs didn't show up in the left hand nav until I quit the app and restarted.

But I'm not sure if you fixed this too... You all are squashing bugs so quickly...

@kbrock I think some situations were solved but someone reproduced ☝️ July 26, 2016 5:03 PM and I can also reproduce a mention in a room not making it appear in the left menu but getting the orange minibar icon. The room does show up in all conversations though.
