Url highlighting/linking is broken for specific urls followed by multiple periods

Pasting http://karma-runner.github.io/0.8/plus/Jenkins-CI.html… into chat will result in a broken link because it adds the ellipsis … to the link.

This problem does not exist for URLs posted with individual periods: www.example.com...
