Gitter email notifications are sub-optimal
Gitter email notifications are not as useful as they could be since they:
- Provide a signal that you will learn to interpret as meaning "Either you or
@allhave been mentioned in a channel". - Show you the most recent 3 emails even though those probably have nothing to do with you.
This means that you then need to open the Gitter channel, and scan the entire days contents for mentions of your user name or @all — though what I actually do is just ignore the email, because in my case it's usually just a message addressed to @all.
It would be much nicer if the message looked like this:

Messages mentioning you:
30th October, 10:51:
User1 @dchambers, do you know how to build the project from scratch?
30th October, 12:20:
User2 The sub-manifold has exploded @dchambers. Please help!!!
Messages addressed to all users:
30th October, 9:26:
