what is the purpose of 'all' merge requests in dashboard?

    Dashboard is expected to show only active merge requests. But now in 4.0.0rc1 86673a66 I see dashboard got open, closed and all options.

    When I have one closed issue and no open issues, status "all" shows "Nothing to show here".

    What is that 'all' supposed to do?

      I don't know if this issue has been noticed, but in case it wasn't:

      Since this fix, the top menu "Merge Requests" now shows the total for all (open and closed) for Dashboard and Group pages.

      For a project page it's still fine.
