Teams that can be added to project on creation

Hey,

I would like to have teams or some sort of method to prevent the need to create a new project, then edit it and add the members of that project.

Since this is not a public repo product, it's a good chance 100% of your users should be given some sort of default access to the project.

I'm also hoping for some groups / teams for gitlab. In fact it is so time consuming to add a new employee to 200+ git projects.

yes.. that is indeed the same issue we have. I've tried to work on this myself, but being a PHP developer with very basic knowledge of Ruby it is kinda hard and to time consuming.

Doesn't need to be very difficult to start with, simply add a model to define groups with people sharing the same role, and in permissions_trait.rb loop over the group(s) that are assigned to that project.

To me there is no need to set separate rights on individual members of a group. I would be very happy to assign multiple groups to a project to set the different rights.

We added ability to import team from another project at 3.1. I think we may close this issue for now
