Add api token validation

Is it possible to give an error message that tells the user what is wrong?

Similar to the design we have here:

What would our validation messages say? Right now, we only really detect whether the API endpoint + personal access token return something.

I guess we could just make it all say This endpoint is invalid, This token is invalid?

Yeah, that works if thats all we have
