# What is iTerm2?
iTerm2 is a replacement for Terminal and the successor to iTerm. It works on
Macs with Leopard or Snow Leopard. Its focus is on performance,
internationalization, and supporting innovative features that make your life
better.
## Why Do I Want It?
Check out the impressive [features](http://www.iterm2.com/#/section/features)
and [screenshots](http://www.iterm2.com/#/section/features). If you spend a
lot of time in a terminal, then you'll appreciate all the little things that
add up to a lot.
## Where Do I Get It?
You can find the latest precompiled versions at
(googlecode)[http://code.google.com/p/iterm2/downloads/list], or clone this
repository and build it yourself.
## How Do I Use It?
Try the [FAQ](http://www.iterm2.com/#/section/faq) or the
[documentation](http://www.iterm2.com/#/section/documentation). Got problems or
ideas? Report them in the
[bug tracker](http://code.google.com/p/iterm2/issues/entry), or take it to the
[forum](http://groups.google.com/group/iterm2-discuss). Or tweet to
[@gnachman](http://twitter.com/?status=@gnachman) and I'll do my best to
respond.
## Other Info
For anything not mentioned here, try the main
[iTerm2](http://www.iterm2.com/#/section/home) website.
