log session

In my session-settings, I have the log enabled (great feature!!!). As this log is written all the time, it's status should not be shown in the Shell->Log menu. That can be used for an additional manual logging to different files.
At the moment, the menu doesn't reflect the actual log status in certain conditions.
Normally I see the Log -> Stop menu as the continuous log is running. But when I stop the log, start a different one to a file and stop that again, the I see the menu Log->Start, but the session log in the background is still running.
