Yes, that's what this means. In recent versions the title bar has become cluttered with things that do not matter to everyone (i.e., me).
There is a number and a period (it always seems to be 1, so I'm not sure what this is for) and there is a command in parenthesis (usually bash or ssh).
I'm sure these are useful to some people in some circumstances, but they are not useful to me and are not relevant to how I use iTerm2. I would like to see configuration options to turn them off (and perhaps configure them to make them useful?).
