item not working with multiple desktop windows on mac

I have been using iterm for weeks and love it, but just today when I open it on a screen that has multiple mac desktops on that monitor, iterm appears across all of them. I can't move it to a particular desktop as it refuses to move and shows in the same place on all desktops for that monitor.
1) Attach your ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist to this
issue.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
- create multiple desktops on a monitor
- open iterm on one of them
- it will show on all
What is the expected output?
iterm will not be isolated to one desktop
What version of iTerm2 are you using?
Build 2.0.0.20141103
What OS version are you using?
10.10.3
Please provide any additional information below.
This was not behaving this way prior to today. The only thing I can think of is that I upgraded from 10.10.2 to 10.10.3, but I think it behaved well for half a day after the upgrade but am not positive.
