Semantic history does not attempt to run selected command

What steps will reproduce the problem?

• Set up semantic history to always run a command that prints the '\1' parameter somewhere, e.g. "echo \1 >> ~/log.txt"
• Cmd-click a file name/filename:linenumber pair

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

No matter what I set as the semantic history action, nothing happens, including the above minimal case

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

iTerm build 2.1 on OS X 10.9.5com.googlecode.iterm2.plist

Try giving a full path, like this: /bin/echo \1 >> /Users/georgen/log.txt Commands run with a very limited environment. Check Console.app to see if any errors get logged.

Tried that as well, no effect

Looks like you have Prefs>Points>Cmd-click opens file/URL off (which disables semantic history).

Commit 1a32d76c adds a label to advanced prefs to let you know when this happens.
