Tab bar does not appear in Mac OS X Fullscreen mode

When switching from windowed to fullscreen mode occasionally the tab bar disappears in fullscreen mode and appears again when switching back to windowed mode using Apple-Enter, and disappears again when hitting Apple-Enter again.

Normally I see the tab bar all the time. The preference 'Hide tab bar with only 1 tab' is enabled, but disabling this option does not change the behaviour.

This happens only occasionally. Normally the tab bar is present, hence I think it is a bug and iterm gets its knickers in a twist somehow.

Nope. Didn't help. I tried to delete the plist, but failed. It kept reappearing.

But the symptoms are the same.

Ok, maybe this is a PEBKAC: I completely missed the 'Hold Cmd for x seconds to make the tab bar appear.'

Maybe this is definitely a PEBKAC.
