Newly-created windows open one-line shorter than set in Profile

I have a saved profile that opens an iTerm window at 80x50. This has been working fine up until about a week or so ago. Now, when the window opens, there is a "gap" at the bottom, and $LINES is only 49.

As a double-check, I created a different profile to open a new window with 70 lines, and it is also one-line short ($LINES is 69) with a gap between the last active line and the bottom edge of the window.

In the Fonts panel, under the "Character Spacing" section I do have the "Vertical Spacing" slider set to 90%, but verified that even with it set to 100%, the size is still one line off.

As I mentioned, this is a recent behavior change.

Let me know if I can provide any more information, and my apologies if this is already a known-issue that is being worked.

What version of iTerm2 are you using? Please attach your ~/Library/Preferences/com.googlecode.iterm2.plist file.

I was running 2.9.20150709-nightly, but just upgraded to 2.9.20150711-nightly and the problem still persists.

The attached screen shot shows the difference is a single pixel. The window on the left is newly-opened from a profile set to open at 80x50, and the one on the right is the same profile but manually resized to actually report $LINES being 50 lines tall.

I'd prefer not to post my entire .plist; is there anything specific you'd like me to look at and report on? The two obvious settings look as I'd expect:

                    <key>Columns</key>
                    <integer>80</integer>
                    <key>Rows</key>
                    <integer>50</integer>

I've noticed the same exact behavior. It started recently when I updated my old nightly build to a newer one and has retained through a couple of updates. My terminal windows start off at 90x20 default but the last line is never used. If I resize the window, the last line gets activated as well. So I can go to 90x21 and back down to 90x20 to get it working fully.

Currently happening on OS X 10.9.4 with iTerm Build 2.9.20150731-nightly. Here's the preference file. com.googlecode.iterm2.plist
