Visor window drops to bottom after having been unplugged from external monitor
Hi :)
I've been experiencing this bug with iTerm2. It's a bit lengthy to explain.
I have my Air hooked up to an Apple display at work. the Apple display is configured as my primary monitor, and the Air's display as secondary. I've configured iTerm's hotkey window to reveal itself on the secondary display, so that I can work with Sublime in fullscreen on the primary display.
This works great for the duration of the work day. In the afternoon, I unplug the laptop and clamshell it, taking it home with me. At home, untethered, I can continue my work, and iTerm will reveal itself as expected (though there is now no secondary display, so it reveals the hotkey visor on the primary display).
Next day, back at work, I plug my Air back in. At this point, iTerm will now reveal its hotkey window on the primary display, the Apple display. That's sort of a (minor) bug, I guess, but here's the kicker: The visor reveals itself at the top, as usual, but if I open another tab in the visor, then Ctrl+D it to exit, iTerm will immediately shift the visor to the bottom of the Apple display, and it'll stay there until I quit and restart iTerm.
It's cool that iTerm doesn't break when I unplug the Apple display, and the "Screen 2" that I've configured it to use for the hotkey window disappears. It'd be even cooler if it detected also when "Screen 2" reappears and then reveal itself there :)
Cheers, Daniel
BTW: I'm using Build 2.9.20150626
