voice over does not appear to work with the password manager

Hello there. I'm quite new at reporting issues, however I' noticing that the passwordmanager at least for a screen reader user like myself does not appear to work. i I log in to the account and then hit cmd option f to go to the password manager and click add. afterwhich I attempt to edit the password as it does not show the right number of characters No aount of clicking will work.

1. launch voice over with command f5 on the mac
2. lauhch iterm
3. log in to the ssh account
4. hit command option f and click add
5. try and edit the password firld. it does not appear to work with voice over.

I added an "Edit password" button since apparently double clicking in a table is not easy in voiceover (requires knowing where the mouse cursor is from what I can tell. Good grief.)
