UI problems with Automatic profile switching

I have several profiles. In Preferences on Advanced tab if I click on a profile name and then on a button "+" under Automatic profile switching, I can type text but cannot save it. After I press "Enter" key on keyboard and then click on another profile name, the text I entered in profile switching is still there. But if I click on "+" again, the rules for selected profile is displayed and the text I have just entered is gone. It is not saved in the rules of the desired profile.

I have OSX 10.11 (15A284). I term2 Build 2.9.20151006-nightly.

Does it matter what the value of the text you enter is? I wonder if it's the same value that's used in another profile. I do see you were able to add automatic profile switching values for some of your profiles.

The value does not matter. The hostnames etc. for profile switching I had were set a while ago in previous versions. I switched to beta version Build 2.9.20151001 and the problem is gone. In the latest nightly build (Build 2.9.20151018-nightly) the problem persists.

It sounds like there might be an uncaught exception. Do you see anything logged to /var/log/system.log when you are doing this?

I have this same issue in 2.9.20160206

Whatever text is entered, it remains as a text box and is present for all profiles.

Update: There's nothing in /var/log/system.log when attempting to add values.

Update: restarting iTerm2 fixed this for me.

When this happens do you see anything logged to /var/log/system.log?

I tested with 2.9.20160222-nightly and it works fine. Thank you for support. I am closing this issue.

This seems to come and go, and I didn't do anything that might have fixed it, so I'm keeping this open. I suspect an exception is thrown sometimes, and it'll get logged to /var/log/system.log. If you see this happen, please let me know what you see there.
