Trouble loading release notes

This is a very small issue (sort of two issues), but I thought it was worth letting you know about in case you want to fix it(/them).
First issue: It appears that the Software Update window doesn't load the release notes until the window gains focus. I was using the laptop in the car (not while driving) without my MiFi available. I switched to iTerm and saw the update notification, but iTerm had retrieved the indication that there was an update without downloading the notes. Once it tried downloading the notes, it had no network connection through which to do so.
Second issue: even when I arrived at my destination, it never was able to download the notes.
The workaround was to close the Software Update window and reopen it. Then it was able to load the notes.
