Splitting a window in tmux mode while in OS X fullscreen mode improperly resizes window

When you are running a local tmux session (tmux -CC) and you are in native OS X fullscreen mode, if you split the window using Cmd+D, it improperly resizes and makes the window smaller. The only workaround appears to be to exit and reenter fullscreen mode.

OS X version - 10.11.3 iTerm2 version - Both 2.1.4 and 3.0 beta (2.9.20160206)

There are a lot of weird things going on here and this code needs to be rethought. For one thing, maxTmuxSize seems to double-count differences between the root and container that tmuxSize computes. This is a can of worms I'm going to punt to 3.1 because it is very risky code.

Hey @gnachman I just played with that build for a few minutes and it has not crashed! The sizes of full-screened and not full-screened windows are still linked but this is much better.

I'll use the build tomorrow as well and let you know what happens.

My experience today was the same as I described last night: no crashes, sizes of separate tmux windows are still linked.

Window sizes are linked within tmux; that is beyond my control, unfortunately (well, I could change tmux I suppose, but I haven't the bandwidth for that project). At least, I think that's what you're referring to?
