Clear buffer only retains last line of command

• iTerm2 version: Build 2.9.20160229-nightly
• OS version: 10.11.3 (15D21)

Clearing the buffer only retains the last line of the current command:

• Enter a command that takes up more than one line (either because it contains line breaks, or because it overflows onto more than one line)
• Press Cmd-K to clear the buffer
• Only the last line of the command is kept at the top of the buffer, I think it should have the full command

Possibly this could be fixed with shell integration, although I'm a little nervous about making the clear buffer command fancy and therefore less reliable.
