• OS version: 10.11.5

I was told to go here for a feature request:

pbpaste like functionality, across iTerm

This works great!

echo -se '\033]1337;CopyToClipboard=name\a' 'foo' '\033]1337;EndCopy\a'

Would be great to have something like this for pasting as well. I can do it on tmux, but would be great to have a native iTerm implementation! :)

I need to revisit this in 3.1. There should be a new escape sequence that doesn't echo the output. It should take base64-encoded input, optionally with a UTI.

I'm leaving this issue open so I remember to add this to tools after it's in beta.
