Set tab color from AppleScript?
Is there a way to set the tab color using AppleScript?
The official scripting docs are at https://iterm2.com/documentation-scripting.html .
There is a way to set the tab title. There are ways to set the color of pretty much every other colorizable item. Just not tab colors.
I've been experimenting with variations like
tell current window
set tabbarcolor to {0, 0, 65535, 100}
and
tell current tab
set color to {65535, 0, 0, 50}
but so far nothing's worked. Maybe it doesn't exist yet.
And yes, I know I can print escape codes from the shell, the way this guy does https://github.com/jacaetevha/finna-be-octo-hipster
That just doesn't seem as clean as doing a direct 'tell' would be.
