Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
Running iTerm2 build 3.1.2 I invoked the "check for updates" command. It found 3.1.3 and I clicked to install and relaunch. Iterm2 closed but it didn't relaunch and wasn't installed (3.1.2 remained as the app). Repeated several times. So in trying to produce a bug report I followed the procedure to referenced on the URL above - enabled debug logging and went through the process again. This time it did install and relaunch but in the process of of course it disabled bug-logging. So either the external link to 3.1.3 was wrong and you fixed it between or this is dependent on debug-logging not being enabled. Either way I can't recheck without booting from a backup (I didn't preserve the 3.1.2 version of the aop) which is a hastle at this moment as many workflows I prefer not to interrupt.
Just being a decent citizen. Thanks for your work.
