Now MySQL is no longer supported, we need to change the docs

It's fine to upgrade from 11.11.x to 12.x, so we remove the requirement
to first upgrade to 12.0.x.

- Remove outdated 'introduced in' section
- Update/remove images

The variable $GIT_CLONE_PATH does not support nested variables, it will
only expand the variables once, not more.
