IE9 plaeholders do not appear

When running in IE9 none of the placeholders for the fields in the sign in, new user, reset password ect. are visible. I was reading somewhere that HTML 5 placeholders are not supported in IE9. My temporary fix was just to add labels above each of the fields.

Yes. As of 5.0 it the placeholders still do not show.
