If you delete the merge request branch, the merge request becomes error'd

If you delete the merge request associated branch, the merge request and all comments can no longer be viewed.

Well, don't do that! Why does gitlab need to have support for this behavior?

I don't need to use the issue format if it's extremely obvious what I am talking about. It's also not an issue and has no associated logs/errors. It is a feature request.

If you delete a branch on github it remembers all the comments and allows the merge request to be viewable. If you delete the branch on gitlab it will not even let you view the merge request page.

Keeping merge branches is excessive.

I think this commit 45b18365 should be enough. Its prevent app error if source branch was removed
