Error in markdown render

If I input some.**code**, I'd like to see result as some.code... But 😢

Or I input (**strong string**), as result I want to see (strong string), I'm 😢 again...

Any Idea where may be bug?

I write tests for redcarpet (https://github.com/zzet/redcarpet/commit/3b64051b241df317f99d8455822f5da4c6b19679) and all test pass.
