Well....I've updated my gitlab to version 6.0 and seen the additional upgrade to 6.1.

So I tried it, but the following didn't work.

cd /home/git/gitlab
sudo -u git -H git fetch
sudo -u git -H git checkout 6-1-stable

The result:

error: pathspec '6-1-stable' did not match any file(s) known to git.
