On top-level, there is another `:parent_example_metadata` returning `{}`
Created by: janko
When I'm inside an example, and when I traverse up the chain of metadata via :example_group
and :parent_example_group
, when I reach the top describe
block, there is another :parent_example_metadata
key which returns {}
.
I think it would make more sense if it wasn't there, since it doesn't have a parent. Then when traversing up the chain one can, to find out when to stop, write if metadata[:parent_example_group]
instead of if metadata[:parent_example_group].empty?
.
