Getting error on missing file/directory although directory and files exist
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Create a folder and/or files including whitespaces.
- Add files to the repository and commit files
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- I expect the output to be a successful commit message as usual
- Instead I see "git did not exit cleanly (exit code 1) (xxxx ms @ mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss AM)" and additionally sed: can't read data_teams/oops-parcel-lost/Clearingcase: No such file or directory (Please see screenshot below). After "/Clearingcase" there is a whitespace. The whole directory and filename is shown in the screenshot below
What version of TortoiseGit and Git are you using? On what operating system? TortoiseGit 2.5.0.0 (C:\Program Files\TortoiseGit\bin) git version 2.8.1.windows.1 (C:\Users\yshaladi\AppData\Local\Programs\Git\bin; C:\Users\yshaladi\AppData\Local\Programs\Git\mingw64; C:\Users\yshaladi\AppData\Local\Programs\Git\mingw64\etc\gitconfig; C:\ProgramData\Git\config) Operating system: Windows 7 Enterprise, Service Pack 1, 64-bit
