VASP: read_ibz_kpoints() without symmetry
The VASP get_ibz_kpoints()
method returns an empty list, if the line 'Following cartesian coordinates'
is not found, which would not be written in the case when the ICHARG
tag is >=10 - so I would suggest checking the OUTCAR
for the ICHARG
value first, and if that is >= 10, just return the entire k-point list. I believe this should be consistent with the behavior from GPAW as well?
As it is, the get_bandpath()
function from ASE is broken, as it tries to build the k-point list from the get_ibz_kpoints()
call. I just want to make sure, that we agree on the behavior of the function, before i try to fix it.
