I tested today the import/export on our setup.

With Release 14.x and beyond the VM is unable to recognize the floppy disk... The way to go is add it as disk: $flags .= ' -hdb floppy.img' ;

I updated the functions for import/export I don’t know if its like your philosophy, because I did it that way that, that always that config is booted which was saved with “admin save” To use the exported config you have to wipe.
